Her professional and educational background is in Training and Development, Small Business Management, Interfaith Spirituality, and Communications. She is internationally certified as a Master Certified Coach (MCC), is a graduate with the highest honors from both Coach University and Marylhurst University, and was named "Student of the Year" upon receiving her masters degree (MA) in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica in Southern Califomia.

She and her husband of almost 30 years have raised three twenty-something sons and have homes in Portland, Oregon, Southern California and northern New Mexico. In addition to coaching, she loves cross-country skiing in the deep, quiet wilderness, travel and adventures through-out the world, poetry of all kinds, windsurfing, and yoga & meditation.
